Justin Bieber On The Death Of Whitney Houston: "My Prayers Go Out "


Justin Bieber tweeted a reaction to the death of singer Whitney Houston hours after she died on Sat February 11. Bieber, a music student who is very knowledgeable about the history of popular music, was a big fan of Houston and her incredible voice.

"I just heard the news. As crazy. One of the greatest voices ever just happened. RIP Whitney Houston. My prayers are with your friends and family," wrote Bieber.

The Canadian singer 17-year-old was part of a long list of singers and musicians and other celebrities that send their condolences via twitter to learn of the death of Houston. Among them were Queen Latifah, Katy Perry, will.i.am, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, Jennifer Lopez, Adam Levine, Tony Bennett, Leann Rimes, Toni Braxton, Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest.

While Bieber had not worked with Whitney Houston, which is known to admire the great performers of a generation or two generations. He was only 15 when his greatest musical influence, Michael Jackson, died in 2009, and has often expressed so great a loss he feels the initial step of Jackson was to the world of music.

In the midst of recording a new album, 'Believe', as it has in the past during the recording that is collaborating with other singers, "Believe" has spent time recording in the studio with Lil Wayne, Justin Timberlake and Drake.
