Justin Bieber Nominated For Two Juno Awards: Fan Choice And Album

He done somewhat better in recent years in the music awards in his country but this time Justin Bieber was appointed for only two Juno awards. The awards were announced Tuesday and Biebs is for the 'Fan Choice Award' and 'Album of the Year'.

The JUNOS is awarded each year to celebrate excellence in Canadian music and this year they go on April 1 in Ottawa. When they announced the nominations in total 41 categories, Juno officials also announced that Canadian TV icon William Shatner, of fame 'Star Trek, will host the show. Kirk is not a musician but is a proud Canadian.

Bieber has arguably had more success in the JUNOS than other awards shows. In 2010 he was nominated for five JUNOS but won only one, the 'Fan Choice Award'. Last year he was appointed but twice and won for 'Pop Album of the Year' for My World.2.0.

He answered in the category of 'Artist of the Year, as Deadmau5, Drake, Feist, City and Colour and Michael Buble earned nominations. For 'Album of the Year her under the mistletoe is up against Michael Buble Christmas album. Also in that category will be Farewell lullaby Avril Lavigne, Drake's album Take Care, and Here and Now from nickleback.

No word on whether Bieber is the 2012 Juno awards with words but pop singer know about the nominations. He tweeted the following on Wednesday: "WE ARE nominated for album of the year for the # UnderTheMistletoe and choosing JUNO Fan Award # JUNOAwards - Canada # Thank you!"
