Singer asked Syahrini Canadian singer Justin Bieber to
apologize after about teen pop sensation in Indonesia triggered strong
reactions from some people-including its fans in the country.
The Indonesian singer said Sunday that Bieber had insulted
Indonesia with his "trash talk", saying that the boy of 18 years
should apologize to all citizens in the country.
"Every citizen would be angry against such remarks. I
do not want my nation to be degraded by anyone," she said.
The Daily Mirror, a British tabloid, already reported
recently that Bieber "mocks the English accent, insulting Indonesia and
threw a hissy crisis," when in London previewed his new album, Believe.
During the event, Bieber told an interviewer on the creative
process for its new titles, saying it was recorded in some "random
country." His manager, Scott "Scooter" Braun, and was
interrupted informed that it was produced in Indonesia.
